Our Bitterroot Power Gouges are hand forged from a single piece of tool steel with a spring-tempered shaft.
Designed to be used with Makita # 0810B demolition hammer drill and Hitachi model # 45SD2. The shaft has been shaped so that it turns freely inside the drill chuck. You can hold it with one hand while you hold the drill in the other and, for example, carve out channels in round logs.
