I. Information Timber Tools gathers or tracks

If you choose to buy products online from our web site at timbertools.com, your purchases will be stored in a shopping cart on a secure server hosted by our E-commerce partner, Canada Cart. The first time you go through our checkout, you will be given the opportunity to register as a user. It is not necessary to register as a user to purchase products from the web site. However, registering as a user and logging in while using the shopping cart will enable the shopping cart to calculate your shipping charges. For you to order goods, the web site will require your name, billing and shipping address, telephone number and e-mail address. The web site will not be able to calculate your shipping costs until it has this information. However, at any time you can view our shipping charges here. When you approve the total amount of your purchase, you will then be taken to a secure page hosted by Canada Cart, where you will be asked for your credit card information.

II. Use of the information Timber Tools gathers/tracks

The goal of Timber Tools' online store is to provide you with the convenience of purchasing our products online. To do this, we need to collect personal information from you. This personal information is collected for the purposes of communicating directly with you about your purchase if necessary, and to ship you the product. We need your credit card information in order to collect payment for items you purchase. We may also use the information for product monitoring, product/service improvement and the evaluation of advertising campaigns. We never sell or redistribute personal information.

III. Information Disclosure

Unless you consent in writing thereto or unless disclosure is required by law, Timber Tools will not disclose any personal information pertaining to you, to any party other than:

An agent or credit agency retained by Timber Tools to collect any overdue amounts owed to Timber Tools by you;
