Serra has already built and sold over 1800 Serra saws since 1997. This is the third generation of the successful Bavaria model, using wide-band saw technology.
The Serra Bavaria is designed for the professional sawyer who has enough supply of wood to operate all day or even multiple shifts.
The Serra Bavaria will out-produce, and cut cleaner boards than, competitive brands.
The Serra Bavaria can be supplied with any hydraulic tools, reducing manpower and improving the bottom line.
The new, unique base frame concept provides maximum stability while reducing transport weight. It's completely hot-zinc treated for long-term reliability and reduced wear and tear.
Another 2 inches wider than the previous Bavaria model, at 4'5" it cuts small or big logs into boards, straight as an arrow. The band blades can be up to 6 inches wide, as an option.
The angled saw head of the Serra Bavaria, the variable blade tensioning and positioning to the log size, and the 20 inches of head room above the log are unique to Serra, and are "must haves" for any innovative saw operation.
Of course, computer-aided control systems and a climate controlled operator's cabin are available.
