The Bavaria SE135 Portable Sawmill
Unique base frame concept
Saw head rail system integrated into frame. Support rails are rounded at top to repel any bark getting stuck.
The overall frame is hot-zinc treated to prevent rust or being affected by acidic wood.
Telescopic tensioning of saw blade
The system is positioned upward to provide 20 inches of headroom above the saw blade.
A long tensioning range allows the use of varied length saw blades, best matching the diameter of logs being cut.
Even small logs can be sawn with ease, using close-gapped saw blades/ band wheels.
For road transport, the band wheels can be fully compressed to meet any allowable road width limitation.
Safety covers open hydraulically.
Simple handling of saw blades
Easy replacement of blade pressure plates when worn. Generally they are long-wearing and inexpensive.
Blade lubrication with two magnetic valves, from 6-gallon tank with fill gauge.
Lubrication/water spraying system for resinous wood.
A unique cleanser system for keeping the band wheel surface clean and lubricated.
The saw operation is managed with a joystick and SPS controller.
A removable touch screen shows all functions and saw programs. Every saw position is indicated, including side fence, saw dust chute, operational hours, production volume, calculator, allowable blade tolerances, forward drive, cut tolerances +/- 0,003 inches.
AVS (Amperemeter controlled advance system) in combination with a watch system manages the ideal forward speed.
In case of blade deviation, a vibration signal is returned to the joystick.
Return of saw head through foot pedal.
