BUFFALO TOOL FORGE Hand Tools: Adzes and Axes

The Gutter Adz is patterned after time-tested tools and is hand forged to the correct curve and sweep. The hand forging and modern steel lends it its remarkable toughness. The tool is shipped with a hard wood handle ground to fit. This is a beautiful adz to use. Gutter adz has a blade length of 7", overall length of 9" with approximately #6 sweep.

The Ship Carpenter's Adz is specifically designed for hewing timbers. When used in conjunction with our scarf slick your timbers will have a terrific hand hewn look. Hand-forged toughness makes this an incredible adz to use. Comes with a custom fit hickory handle. 4½" cutting edge.
